The luxury cottages at Southrop Manor Estate are each available for short term let. Situated around a courtyard at the front of our award winning barn restoration project, each building has been renovated with great attention to detail and to an extremely high standard of finish, using traditional local materials and skilled local craftsmen. Grand and slightly quirky - a stay at the cottages will provide a real country experience.
The River Leach runs through this angelic Cotswold village. With its crystal clear waters, wild brown trout and stunning water meadows, the river offers the chance to see swans, kingfishers or maybe the occasional water vole. A short stroll up the village street with its old raised pavements leads to our village pub, the much recommended Swan at Southrop, where you can have a simple lunch or a full three course dinner from our à la carte menu. All our cottages are named after their working heritage and are decorated using the same principles, a modern take on the traditional English Country House, using an eclectic mix of English and French antique furniture and paintings with a particular emphasis on Cotswold artists.

Our upholstered pieces come from our own furniture house, Teasel at Southrop, and are a mixture of new, made to order, with some vintage pieces all covered using our unique, beautiful English woven wools, which lend a soft and luxurious country chic aspect to all our properties. Our furniture and furnishings can be viewed at our Teasel studio by prior appointment (www.teaselatsouthrop.com). The beds are of the highest quality with Vi-Spring mattresses, goose down quilts and pillows and four hundred-thread count Egyptian cotton (non-allergenic available by arrangement).
